ZeroChroma Theater-Stand 360 VarioClear Case Review for iPhone 5

ZeroChroma Theater-Stand 360 VarioClear Case Review
This year’s CES brought a lush of accessories for iPhone 5, each more eye-catching and fashion forward than the other. Even if Smartphone Experts’ Joel Martin says soon enough iPhone 5 users will eventually end up with dozens of cases in their collection, cases are not exactly affordable purchases. Some are priced around $25 – $30, but most are priced way over $50, particularly if you’re looking for a power boost too.

As the market of iPhone 5 accessories is now flooded with dozens of products, for the buyer on a budget a case must offer sturdy protection, increased functionality and a design that matches Apple’s. The appeal is significant since a pricey investment such as iPhone 5 needs to be kept out of harm’s way. And then there’s the huge amount of data that most users keep in their iPhones. Any damage might potentially cause you to lose a huge part of your life.

While most iPhone 5 cases add color and texture to the device, ZeroChroma’s VarioClear 5 keeps your device protected while showcasing its sleek design. “All iPhone users face the dilemma of wanting to see the design aesthetic of the phone, but needing to protect it at the same time” the company explains. “The Vario Clear for iPhone 5 allows users to do just that, with the added bonus of our signature integrated Theater-Stand 360” adds ZeoChroma CEO Brian Le Gette.

In terms of functionality, the VarioClear case for iPhone 5 provides a theater-stand 360 that gives the user 11-angle selections, orientations such as portrait and landscape, making it a lot more comfortable to watch movies, play games, browse the internet and use FaceTime. The stand is anti-slip proofed thanks to a rubberized layer, whereas the outer bumper of the case gives protection against moderate shocks. On the inside, the case is lined with a soft material that protects it from scratches.

The VarioClear iPhone 5 case makes it easy to access the 30-pin dock connector, the speaker and microphone, as well as the ring/silent switch, the volume buttons and the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The best thing about this case is the feel. Pressing the buttons with the iPhone still in the cover feels just like the right thing.

The ZeroChroma iPhone case also has a wrist-strap built into it. Varioclear for iPhone 5 costs $44.99.
